This winter, we are partnering with UCYC to host a weekend camp that puts Jesus first and doesn’t miss the fun. The weekend will be packed with fun activities, competition, worship, and an incredible message meant to engage your students and help them grow closer to Christ!
THEME
Today’s high school students are bombarded with more noise, conflict, and anxiety than any previous generation can recall. They’re hungry for something resolute and concrete that they can lean on to build a life. As believers, we turn to God’s Word.
A recurring theme in scripture is that of peace. The apostles instruct believers to “live peaceably with all”, to live in “peace with God”, and to “seek peace and pursue it”. With all this emphasis and encouragement towards peace, there must be more to peace than a lack of conflict. And with Jesus being the titular Prince of Peace, how can we experience some of that peace for ourselves? By the end of the weekend, we hope that students will be challenged to consider the following questions:
What is peace?
How do I experience peace within myself?
What does it mean to live in peace with God?
How do I live in peace with others?
