We are officially in the second week of construction at the Sweetwater Campus. The first week of construction was focused primarily on deconstruction and preparation work, and we are grateful that that went smoothly and we enter the second week on schedule and without issue.
Week 2 is focused on preparing for concrete pouring of the footings. The footing steel is being laid out and placed. Next the beam interfaces will be placed and tied into the footings.
If all goes smoothly over the next few days, concrete will be poured later this week and begin the curing process. Then it will be full steam ahead for placing the steel.
