We get another major update to share this week! Concrete trucks are back on site. Today they will be pouring cement around the base of the steel uprights. This is largely cosmetic as the previously poured concrete serves as the strength of the foundation for the beams.
This pour will fill in the openings made for the footings, as well as cover the large flange base and bolts of the beams, allowing for a smooth and hazard-free floor once everything is done.

The crews that have been working on site are all enthusiastic about the project and are regularly asking about the rest of the phases as well as what long term church usage will look like. We even noticed a few of them sneaking some selfies in the building during the pour today. :)
