WHAT
We will be building backpacks for kids in need for Peach Springs, Parker and Mexico.
WHEN
Backpacks will be available to pick up after church service on the weekends of November 18/19 and 25/26 and will need to be collected by Sunday, December 3rd.
GIFT SUGGESTIONS
For cold weather: Gloves, mittens, scarves, warm PJ’s, T-shirts, sweatshirts, soft blankets, socks.
Hygiene items: Toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap, comb, brush, washcloth, etc.
School Supplies: Pencils, and sharpener, pens, crayons or markers, writing pads, coloring books, art supplies, painting sets, craft sets
Toys: Small cars, Lego kits, balls, dolls, STUFFED ANIMALS (These are always a big hit), age-appropriate card games for family fun, slinky, jump ropes, small games.
Other: Baseball caps, sunglasses, hair clips, jewelry, watches, baseball and softballs, baseball gloves, soccer balls, hacky sacks
Older Kids: Flashlights, calculators, card games, small games, hand-held electronic games, extra batteries for anything you include that needs them!!
For Peach Springs: Basketball is a VERY important part of their community!!
For Mexico boys ages 9-14 we are collecting SOCCER BALLS and hand pumps!!!
Please remember: NO toy guns, knives, OR war related items please!! Please NO used items.
